Well, majority of the people do have misconceptions about this word "Investment". Initially, people think that the investment shall only used the extra spare money 20-30% to grow their wealth. But after seeing other done with the contra, shorts, etc then these investors deviate from their original intent and pump in more money (out of their spare fund) hoping to gain a fast money with shortest time. Tends to follow comments and news from 3rd party to place their "bet" rather than study the counter fundamentals. End up they might lose more than what they can afford and eventually lose faith on investment/trading.
To me, I'll rather be more Conservative and stick with the principle that invest/trading with spare money and confident with the counter after all the fundamentals check are being done. The aim shall remains that trading is another alternative to create wealth and not the alternative to ruin your hard built worth fortress 😉.

Well, to me more importantly is one's discipline on whatever they do. With right discipline and perseverance, BNPL or other scheme will be more beneficial. Else, without proper discipline whatever best scheme will just be a worst scheme.
