I always see people recommending QQQ in moomoo. Is there a reason people recommend it over QQQM (lower expense ratio) or VGT (lower expense ratio and better historical returns)?
Same with SPY over VOO. VOO has a better expense ratio and better returns. Why is Reddit so pro QQQ and SPY? my strategy is simple. my main portfolio will be of stocks that I don't mind (i) holding long term even if crisis happens (prepared to hold them for 10 years if need be) (ii) and i enter during market crashes.
An example is qqqm below where I bought 2 shares during the market crash of the fed hike in 2022 :) I've not sold any yet.
but as I'm also still new and learning in this journey, I practise caution too and usually go in with lower amounts when I'm uncertain about a stock. hence ...
