A couple of cash coupons and a few months of holding leads to a humble profit. It is a safer option compared to stocks and you could argue that I have missed out all the crazy gains from the stock market. However, I am currently risk averse and try to be more conservative, and hence my funds have been in the money markets to be on the safe side.

As a Malaysian myself, I am glad to see a zero commission broker getting into the market and causing a new competition and disruption. We have been paying tons of commission and fees for trading, this is about to change drastically and benefit us with other promotions and benefits.
