The current bear market rally actually began in mid-October and so has lasted for several months now. Of course the big difference between 2023 and 2021 is that we no longer have monetary and fiscal stimulus pumping money into risk assets. So my bet is this year will not be a repeat of 2021; in fact it may look more like 2022 for much of the year.
