First and foremost, BLESSED FIRST MOO-SARY to Moomoo!!
One year older = one year wiser! For Moomoo it will be an additional year of gaining recognition with more subscribers!!
Personal milestone? I would break down into 2 portions – What had I achieved in the past year and what I wish/want to achieve next!
What had I achieved in the past year:
- Started this investment/trading path with Moomoo!
- Started picking up habits in reading business/political/market trend ...

Grab entered by the non-traditional way. CEO of Grab thinking the same as WB – Time in the market vs timing the market? Teeheehee! Well, many listed stocks via SPAC did not turn out well, wishing the best to GRAB!

The brutal truth? It’s been a bloody bloodbath. Bought stocks and went red in the next 2 days. Indeed “Time in the market vs Timing the market” – this hit hard.
$Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$
$C3.ai (AI.US)$
But in hindsight, the other saying – “Buy the dip”. If you have extra/spare cash, I think it’s a good time to buy the dip!

1. Customer Service – which I think it is very important. Sorry to mention, sometimes it can be tough to communicate with CS agents. I suppose they are mostly Chinese (China agents). However describing of what is happening or the communication tends to break down.
2. Moo Moo Teams – Pretty much like it that you guys differentiate or categorise yourselves for users to follow and attain information! It will be great if there’s an umbrella where it shows a list of Moo Moo related accounts (I suppose it’s under Futu/Moo Moo group) for us to follow, especially when there are new accounts and/or it will be easier for new users!
3. Discussions with rewards – it is sad to say that there is no system in Moo Moo to track the “Discussions” that we’ve joined. There was once I was not credited points and had to check with CS agents as I did up an excel to keep track.
4. Referee and Referrer – Came to my notice that the referee will be able to know the new referrer he/she invited (provided the party remembers the referee’s member ID/name). I think it will be a fair system if the new referrer knows his/her referee ID/name too!
5. Buttons with info in the app? Or a more detailed and engaging courses/tutorials that cover about every single button in the app especially for amateur like me.

An animal lover here – love discovering the lingo with animals!
1. Bull : Though I’m not a favourite of bull, but in stock – this is definitely my favourite after I enter the stock!
2. Bear 🐻: Somewhat cute animal – good to have to buy the dip!
3. Black swans 🦢: They look beautiful in white. But adding the word “black” – it killed it which resulting a meaning of a completely unforeseen and unexpected stance
4. Whales 🐳: Gigantic and Intelligent – having the money and power to influence!
5. Unicorns 🦄: Another favourite here as it’s colourful and brings colour to life! Living to it’s name – a privately held start-up company with over $1 billion of value!

There can be many methods/indicators – be it theoretical, practical or luck (maybe)? In my opinion, I’m more of the 40-30-20-10
40%: Research on the Company/Stock and anything related to the it. Basically, it’s questioning yourself – If you have $1mil, will you want to put this amount to invest in the Company? How much confidence do you have?
Taking consideration, if you have $1mil, will you want to invest in $Apple (AAPL.US)$, $Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$ $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ - will it be "Hit it right away" or something holding you back?
a. About Company
b. It’s management – leadership, events, how employees feel about working in the Company, etc.
c. Investors
d. CSR
e. How and what clients feel of Company’s product and/or services
30%: The theoretical analysis (numbering is not in order!) – but of course choosing what you are comfortable with.
a. Dollar Cost Averaging
b. Fundamental Analysis
c. Technical Analysis
d. Chart reading
e. Candlestick
20%: Reading on the news surrounding the Company/Stock, the Trend and what’s stirring the market:
a. Both sides of stories – good and bad news. Bad news which highly may cause it to dip – you might want to enter during it’s dip and sell when it bulls!
b. Surrounding as in its competitors – it might affect the stock one way or another. Taking an example the current rising trend in EVs (Electric Vehicles) – $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ is rising, other companies in this industry is affected. They will feel pressured in many ways – having to beat Tesla in sales, finding ways in obtaining chips which Tesla managed to obtain, winning the hearts of buyers, etc.
However, think of it – there are many other car makers in this industry. If they could be the next 3 companies in managing to resolve the issue, it could benefit their stock value.
c. It could be some big shot influencing the stock to grow – example: meme stocks ( $AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ , $Twitter (Delisted) (TWTR.US)$ ) being influenced by a group of Reddit. Well, meme stock is a stock that captures online attention, mostly from a younger generation of investors on online forums such as Reddit. And ZOOM, it goes viral! However, it is usually not in line with its fundamentals.
10%: Luck! 🍀
I'm thankful to the someone who mentioned to me - Overall, it depends on your risk appetite. Depending on whether you are you a trader or investor. Indeed, it is important to know clearly what you want your portfolio to be like in order to know when to hit the “Trade” button. You can either buy dip and sell high and the other is to buy high and sell higher. However, are you the risk taker to buy dip and not having to worry the “what-ifs” it dips even deeper? Remember to do the research and study and have a ratio of your own that you are comfortable with being hitting the button!

Gen Z has a larger group/percentage in being more adventurous! They literally jump into investments without fear. Their options for investing are definitely more and flavourful – example of the NFTs and meme stocks!

Actually, was quite intrigued with the name “moo moo”. Wondering if it was trying to link to “Moon” as everyone always wants/say that the stock they buy will rise to the “Moon”. Hmm, slogan - $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ Moo to the moon?
Anyhow, I would say that the moo moments would be when the stocks are heading to the Moon! Aside from that, definitely the moment when I won a Moo discussion after multiple tries here and there! The notification was received late in the evening and I was surprised! Whenever I see any posts on the app or Moomoo’s IG that people have tons of points to change for many rewards, I was so upset and jealous. But it’s finally my turn!! My eyes glowed and I felt so positive that this new month will be fabulous!
Lastly, as always, wishing that the courses about the app would be more detailed and there will be more tutorials upcoming please.
Blessed 9th anniversary to you $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$
Happy Moomoo day to you!
Happy Moomoo day to you!
Happy Moomoo dear FUTU!

Alternatively – find other opportunity! There’s definitely other stocks that will bull!!
