“Reported inflation is understated. Owners’ Equivalent Rent (OER) relies on owner surveys to estimate inflation in housing costs. This is an extremely imprecise metric. The single family rental market provides more accurate data. OER in today’s reported core CPI was 3.5% YoY.
The largest owners of nationwide single family rentals are reporting 17% YoY rent increases. OER is 30% of the Core CPI calculation and 24% of reported CPI. Using the more empirical measure in the calculation increases today’s Core CPI from 4.9% to 9.0% and CPI from 6.8% to 10.1%
Housing inflation is unlikely to abate based on supply and demand trends. The inflation that households are actually experiencing is raging and well in excess of reported gov’t statistics.”

NDX has rebounded off 16140 yesterday and that was a clear confirmation that pullback bottom was in as it couldn't break previous day low.
I have entered heavily into TQQQ and TQQQ calls to ride the wave to the new highs. We should break the 16450 high as soon as next week. Supports, resistances and profit taking zone will be in my next video which I will be uploading either today or tomorrow.

There is a bearish divergence on RSI on 5min, 30min and 1hr chart of ndx futures and QQQ.
We could see ndx going down to retest 15800 levels again to cover the gap created 2 days ago before the next rally up. On the QQQ around 386 levels for the gap cover.
This can also be confirmed if we do not cross above 16450 on ndx futures and 401 on QQQ which is the major resistance point.
However once we break the major resistance. It is going to be unlikely to cover the bottom gaps and that means we will only cover them on the next correction.
When it retrace down to cover the gap, it is a good opportunity to be buying that dip as we will unlikely break the 15500 lows based on this current rally. But make sure you see the confirmation that it rebounds off that level and doesn't slice right through the 15800 or 386 on QQQ. Because if it does, that means the Tuesday rally was a dead cat bounce before we head to new lows.

Having said that, institutional investors are not infallible. They have made their share of costly mistakes because they too cannot predict the future (the regulation in China against the private education sector was a prime example $New Oriental (EDU.US)$ which caught institutional funds like Temasek Holdings by surprise).
Most importantly, the structuring of one’s investment portfolio should be guided by one’s investment objective, financial needs, time horizon of investment and risk profile which would not match those of institutional investors. What is a suitable investment for the fund may not be suitable for oneself due to differences in the depth of the pocket and exposure to risks, among others.
In addition, the information from 13F may be too late for retail investors to leverage on as the price may have changed since the trades. It also does not tell us the whole story; for instance, institutional funds may take up long positions as a hedge against short positions.
While we all desire our investments to fly to the moon, the positions of star institutions should be used with care; it should be one of many things to consider as part of our research rather than something to be followed blindly.

Fed Chairman Powell warned that inflation may last longer than expected, and Omicron variants bring downside risks

Fed Chairman Powell said that as supply and demand tend to balance, high inflation will subside next year, but he warned that the duration of price increases may exceed previous expectations.
