To help you hit the ground running, we came up with 10 common but essential themes for mooers. In response, many enthusiasts shared real-world cases and valuable opinions in our community.
Replay the Past
1. How do you pick a stock?
Trading and investing is an endless journey to take. It's hard, especially at the very beginning. We called for skilled traders to pass on their experience to the young and help others prevent unnecessary losses.

3. How do you set the stop loss point/profit target?
It's wise to set a stop-loss and take-profit target for every trade. An effective strategy could help investors make the most of their trades and avoid significant losses.

5. How to build a portfolio with a windfall of $1 million?
Diversification is a critical concept in portfolio management. Mooers' top 3 assets candidates to be put into the portfolio are stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. There is no best, only the most suitable portfolio for investors.

6. What habits help you become a better trader?
Personal feelings are not reliable when it comes to trading and investing. Emotional trading may help you make fast money, but rational trading is how you survive for a long time. Double-checking, summarizing, controlling positions are all good habits.

7. How did you start short-term trading?
Short-term trading could bring an adrenaline rush, but it's also highly risky. We should keep a clear mind and stay alert to the markets where milliseconds count. Risk management and emotion controls are essential.

8. Why do you stick to long-term investment?
The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient. Long-term investors could earn more when the companies make bigger cakes, which is a win-win scenario. Time in the market beats timing the market.

9. How do you improve your trading mindset over time?
Attitudes and beliefs about the market could significantly impact the execution of your transactions. If we are to get rid of FOMO, we must learn why we lost. Consistent winners are rare. Practice makes perfect!

10. Do you trade the news? Why, or why not?
News events are usually unplanned and carry risks. With practical strategies in mind, you may catch the rare investing opportunities in time and reap profits out of them. Act when you can and leave when you still can. Timing is everything.

amc is the only stock i m not affected when price falls. I’m happy when price goes up, but when it falls i just happily buy more at a cheaper price.
maybe i should correct myself. I am still affected (disappointed) when the falling price didnt hit my queue to buy price!
