Most people don't have good holding power, money isn't made in buying and selling, it's made with holding, there's some luck involve but if u do ur research well, you'd have a stronger holding power

tesla as a investor, consumer and individual

$Tesla(TSLA.US)$ As an investor i dont like tesla as i think its overvalued, as a consumer i like their cars and would buy them if it make sense to own an EV where i live and if it fits my lifestyle, as an individua i respect elon musk and what he's doing and wont bet against that guy cos he's crazy in a good way
overall im glad that tesla exist but i would nvr buy their stock, there are better investments elsewhere

Speculators

$YTLPOWR(6742.MY)$ based on the comments here, there's a lot of speculators, who didn't analyse the company financials and it's business model, let alone do valuation based on current share price. Get ready to lose money if u didn't do any analysis, you're not 'investing' you're speculating aka gambling

Ultraboom OP 104457803 : if u need to ask that qs, you also didnt do any analysis, do ur own research, ur own valuation, cos valuation is subjective, i wud say focus on having a good safety margin
To do well in stock market, u need to be able to think independently regardless of what the market is doing, u need to be able to go against market, and have conviction that comes from doing ur own research

Ultraboom OP : NFA, u hold at high price cos didnt do analysis and just bought cos it was going up/ppl say its good, cant blame any1 else but yourself
always do ur own analysis, IF its stil reasonable valuation then it just got cheaper, u shud b averaging down
but IF its exp, u shouldnt have bought in the first place, there are other counter u can buy, dun have to cry cos u missed the rally
How do u know YTLP is which? DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH
YTLP 1 day 10 % not too bad, i have other counters that fell 40-50% in few days, i did my own research and i avrg down, now im up 37%

Ultraboom OP 104457803 : i dun give buy or sell call, u decide urself based on ur conviction that comes from ur research, at the end of the day, its ur money, u are responsible for ur profit or loss

Ultraboom OP : valuation is subjective, whats exp to me is cheap to others, and stock market is where ppl can have diff opinion but market decides whos right or wrong

Ultraboom OP AnaiAnai : the way i view esos as shareholder, i dun view it as negative, i view it as positive, cos it gives them incentive to work harder for the benefit of the company, cos now they have ownership and can lose money if share price goes down, i dun mind giving up a bit of shareholding in dilution, in return for harder working employee and also dun have to pay them higher salary, just use esos, and use the money to spend on capex, pay debt or pay dividends
