$Apple (AAPL.US)$ The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) denied a request by Apple to exclude a shareholder proposal that required apple to tell investors about its use of nondisclosure agreements and other hidden provisions. The move means that unless a deal is struck with the investor, Apple will have to vote on the proposal at next year's annual meeting. Apple has said it has a policy not to use hidden terms, a claim disputed by former employees.

$Apple (AAPL.US)$ $Ford Motor (F.US)$ $DAIMLER AG ADR (DMLRY.US)$ According to reports, Apple has increased the number of test drivers for its self-driving cars to 137. These drivers mainly help Apple test autonomous driving technology on the road and collect data.
According to data from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (CDMV), the number of drivers currently testing Apple's self-driving cars has increased by 23, bringing the total number of drivers to 137. In comparison, the number in September was 114, while in August and May there were 92 and 76 people, respectively.
Although the number of drivers has increased, the number of vehicles Apple used for testing has remained the same at 69. In contrast, companies including Mercedes-Benz, Waymo, General Motors Cruise, Zoox and Pony have all added more vehicles to their self-driving fleet.

$Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ $Lordstown Motors (RIDE.US)$ $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ Rivian's 'shrewd mix' of 'sport pickups and delivery vans' doesn't give it any edge over Tesla with its Cybertruck and of course Tesla will not overlook the potential market in commercial and camper vans. The good thing is Musk started a revolution affecting all car manufacturers, challenging them to produce reliable and affordable electric vehicles that compete with Tesla. He is encouraging real competition and the demand for EVs in the future means more manufacturing capability will be needed. America needs to go big on EVs but the legacy automotive manufacturers are not yet really 'all in' for that change of direction.
