i added tesla as one of the starting stocks but it dipped after purchase. Deciding to dollar cost average when it dipped require me to have a metality to be prepared for more potential dips.

But resilience paid off and I made a profit when it finally went up!

All these happened within a period of ~2 weeks.
Always be prepared for paper losses, stay invested if you believe in your stocks and you will be rewarded!

Sold my apples for 181 at the start of the year before they went into 3T. Recently went back to stock up my apples again, and now its up to 175! Buy the dip, ride the waves!

As 2021 comes to an end, this is my own review of the 2021 trading journey
1. How did your trades perform?
As of today, I'm entering a 1-month anniversary with MooMoo platform. It has been an interesting experience very easy to pick up. I started my first ~$10K SGD investment into the US Market as a new investor and so far, the odds are in my favor (fingers crossed!)
2. What have you learned from trading?
Trading is like life long learning, it is about knowing enough to make good decisions because we are never likely to know it all to time the market. What is important is that we think of what we want to achieve, and how we set out to achieve these investment goals. Do I want to buy a stock and keep it for life or do I want to buy a stock that I will trade repeatedly for capital gains? Both has its pluses and minus and it is about weighing our choices against what we think will happen.
But never forget, trading can be fun and be a side hobby/hustle if you get the gist of it!
3. What cool things have you done?
Despite being only 1-month in this investment journey with MooMoo, I'm happy with the resources, community and platform experience that I have invited my friends to join me on this journey!
In fact, I am happy that 5 of them have joined me & I look forward to receiving the Ambassador figurine (and investing more!)
