$STMicroelectronics (STM.US)$ Shares opened higher on the first day of the latest 21Q3 earnings release, closing up 7.7%, a record high. Two pieces of news can be seen from domestic media reports. First, due to the epidemic, STM's factory in Malaysia had to shut down for a period of time, which ultimately led to lower than expected sales of auto products (although the demand was strong). Second, STM recently released the price increase news.
