Do you believe in Cathie Wood?
Wall Street's star stock picker has seen her fortunes wane over the past year as her flagship tech innovation fund slid more than 50%, losing $13 billion in market value.
Wood, one of the few prominent female fund managers on Wall Street, is facing one of the greatest challenges of her professional career: how to show the world that she is simply more than the face of what some are calling the pandemic bubble...

U.S.-listed Chinese stocks sank again on Tuesday. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index posted its biggest drop since November 2008, while the Hang Sang Tech Index tumbled 11% in its worst decline since the gauge was launched in July 2020.
It seems tempting to call for a bottom after such a heavy selloff.
Do you think the valuation is low enough to buy?

(Bloomberg) -- An exchange-traded fund that’s making waves thanks to its singular bet against Cathie Wood’s flagship fund just notched a new milestone.
The price of the Tuttle Capital Short Innovation ETF ( $Tradr 2X Short Innovation Daily ETF (SARK.US)$ ) on Friday closed higher than Wood’s ARK Innovation ETF ( $ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK.US)$ ) for the first time. In other words, it’s become more expensive to buy shares in a fund making very s...

Hello Mooers, welcome back!
In today discussion, we will be talking about two priceless investing traits that we can learn from Cathie Wood (founder, CEO and CIO of Ark Invest).
Without further ado, let’s begin!

Hi, mooers! Welcome back to MooHumor again!
The argument about whether investing should be an art or a science has lasted for quite a long time.
Someone says it's an art. Only the investor with a keen instinct for recognizing good companies can make the most returns.
Someone says it's a science. Analysis based on financial numbers and history is the only path to success.
So which one is more closer to the truth? There's no correct answer. But eventually, they are both aiming for the same purpose. It's all about making the right choices.
Now let's see how mooers use artistic or scientific ways to make better choices.
Pick your side first. You cannot be both.

$ARK ETFs (LIST2551.US)$ I see a lot of hate here for Cathie Wood/Ark Invest and on most other social media platforms. With comments like “worst fund ever” or “look how bad X stock pick has done, how do people even invest in them” etc.
Yet since inception (2014), ARKK has outperformed both the S&P500 and NASDAQ by 100%+. This is after the -25% decline it has seen in the last month as well, before the decline it was more like 200%+.
The fund discloses very clearly how risky it is and how you need to have a long time horizon if you’re investing into it.
To me, it seems like a no brainer to buy up all the ARKK I can at these price levels but wanted to ask: for the people who genuinely think Ark Invest is a crap fund, is it just how it has performed this past year? Or do you have other reasons?
