U.S. stock futures were mostly flat Tuesday night after the Nasdaq plummeted in its worst day since March as a spike in bond yields sent stocks tumbling.

Back in 2019 I was new to trading, and opened my first stock account. Did minimal research and just dumped one lump sum into a bluechip. Got really lucky on one of my trades ( $HongkongLand USD (H78.SG)$ ), and managed to get 9% in a day. Seemed really easy money and I went ahead to just throw in money into stable companies (good cashflows + prospects etc).
My dad was very impressed and even gave me a sum of money to invest reminding me to be careful... however i was cery reckless and invested lumpsums at once.. then Covid struck and some of my investments ( ...

The US financial market has been very active in the past 6 months. The major averages closed out a strong first half of 2021 and second quarter.
