wafflewolfeh tuanle07 : New job creation has reduced from 200k to just 12k. What we can expect is there is a general reduction in growth for goods and services. what this means for Mag7 is inline with their next quarterly prediction of reduced profits.
What I would do is to start a DCA SELL, on the bulk of my equities due to the risk of economic downturn. Though I might start putting short positions soon as well but I will wait on that just for a month longer. That will change if trump gets elected though i did start DCA SELL immediately.

wafflewolfeh tuanle07 : Theoretically it should… But if you think about it, people seldom borrow more money to buy stuff… People only start buying stuff when their salary increases… Which leads me to believe demand for goods and services will still reduce. I don’t know how demand will increase imho, other than companies lowering the cost for certain goods and services… Hmmmm how can demand increase actually I think that’s a good next question so we can know when we can expect to start buying at the lows

Cuz no matter how rates are reduced, when you jobless you not going to buy stuff… I guess we really can only wait, but wondering if that did be too late to sell…

wafflewolfeh tuanle07 : Hmmmmm. I agree unemployment rate is important too, but the way this data is collected is by surveying the workers. This makes it less accurate a representation compared to non farm payrolls in my opinion (people don’t want to tell other people they don’t have a job). Because non farm payrolls are collected by surveying the companies (can be check and audited, so no reason to lie).
I think short term pump then it might dump. Be careful my brother!
