Moving forward I will be looking at short term bonds and Singapore stocks when they start to pullback. Started slowly deploying into local Reits and Bank stocks in the past 2 years. I finally tried swing trading using Moomoo's papertrading account in May this year. $1M worth of paper money. wow..thanks Moomoo ![]()
However, my experience isn't that positive when it comes to the demo platform. There's only market and limit orders for closing of trades. For proper trade management, stop-loss and trailing stops should be made available too. It would be better also if clients would be able to choose the amount of paper money such as $10k, $...

I expect 2024 to still be a volatile year. SG market had a lackluster year in 2023 and I will continue to trade it this year based on support and resistance levels. Even though I don't have high expectations for our local market, we do have good dividend counters, and there's capital and dividend gain to be made. For US market, I will continue trading weekly options. Main goal for 2024 is to beat the market performance by staying nimble. 💪 Happy 2024 everyone and may the markets be with you!![]()
I could think of 2 improvements that I would wish to see on the Moomoo mobile platform:
1) When we draw horizontal trendline on technical chart, it is possible to set a price alert on the line drawn.
2) For papertrading, we could set stop loss and trailing stop. I find the papertrading feature more suited for investing rather than trading without these functions.![]()
