I only start to trade three months ago since end Jan 2022.   missed all the bear and bull run.  but I believe there are always change to make extra income if I spend time to evaluating the right stock and buy them at the right time.   listen and read more before investing.  but I think the most important thing is to invest with your spare cash and must have holding power if needed.     so that you won’t force to sell too early.

I have two trading portfolios  one for long term shock that I will hold or buy at dip once I have spare cash.   average cost down.  mostly those are good stock that I strongly believe in. and if their p/e are low, good earning. happy to keep buying.   those are stock that I read their financials update on weekly basis.  like apple, Microsoft, Pfizer

yes I will follow the news. I spend around 2 hours everyday looking through the news and YouTube on companies that other say good.   go through the financial statement then decide if good to go.   buying good company is a golden rule. but no harm learning new canc upcoming ompany
