$DBS (D05.SG)$ DBS Group totally crushed it in 2024! Net profit jumped 11% to SGD 11.4 billion, with a killer 18.0% return on equity. Total income also soared 10% to SGD 22.3 billion—thanks to a bigger commercial book net interest margin, over SGD 4 billion in fees (a first!), record treasury customer sales, and a rebound in markets trading income. Dividend @0.60!

$DBS (D05.SG)$ As a recently retired person (but still doing parttime work more as a hobby to kerp myself active) and 2 lots of DBS, I must say that DBS has, never failed to amaze me in its increasing its earnings and dividends year after year. I could have sold out my DBS when it reached $44 or $45, but I reason out to myself that this is reputed to be SE Asia's largest bank, Temesek has a stake in it., and the dividends DBS gives me definitely goes beyond the paltry 2.5% pa fixed deposit rate....
