• PumpkinG OP NKM41 : Based on my understanding, this is due to different CDS account type. Our CDS account at moomoo platform is nominee CDS which is different with the other CDS account call direct CDS. The main difference with this 2 CDS account are the owner, if your trading platform providing direct CDS account then the account will park under your name. On the other hand, nominee CDS will use the trading platform + (your name). So when you bought the stock for example MBSB, if you are direct CDS, they will see your name in their shareholder list like XXXX 1000 units or you are nominee CDS, it will be Moomoo Sdn Bhd (XXXX) 1000 units. When company pay you the dividend, they will pay to the bank account you provided when you create direct CDS, if nominee CDS they will pay to the trading platform here is Moomoo Sdn Bhd bank account, then only Moomoo deposit to your platform account and this is why it take extra working days.

• PumpkinG OP : FYI, direct CDS will also create account in Bursa Malaysia but not nominee CDS. Most of the direct CDS account can be created under Bank Trading platform in Malaysia and some other platform (Trading Platform M). The rest of trading platform will only open a nominee account for you. If you want to know more can google the different of direct and nominee CDS in Malaysia the info will be more complete.

• PumpkinG OP erickheng4747 : Your CDS account is linked with your Bursa Account now, which is your NRIC. So if you want to change another broker or do self-trading using another platform, normally you can transfer out your stock to another trading platform. For example, I use 3 platforms, which are Moomoo, Maybank Trade, and Rakuten Trade. I can see all of them under my Bursa Malaysia app called “Bursa Anywhere” (you need to register first, then only you can see all your different broker CDS accounts there). Your last question: let’s say you create a new account in another platform, then it should only be able to view by that broker only.
