For many mooers, 2022 is a very disappointing year with the falling stock prices, sharply rising inflation and interest rates. However, don't let how you feel about the economy overrule your feelings about investing.
Despite the challenges, there is always room to grow and learn on moomoo. Whether you are just getting started or have been making continued progress toward your financial goals, recording every step is meaningful.

With the highest inflation in 40 years, a looming recession, and growing geopolitical tensions, the 2021 stock market mania was suddenly shut down and the year 2022 has been quite tough for investors. After the Russo-Ukrainian war began, the market headed south, ending up with $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$'s worst yearly performance since 2008. (source: moomoo app, as of Dec. 15, 2022)

Singapore Real Estate Investment Trusts (S-REITs) have surged as inflation in the US shows signs of cooling.
An analyst at Industrial Bank Singapore, said that whether the sell-off in S-REITs is coming to an end depends largely on when global inflation, particularly in the US, reaches its peak, and when the US Federal Reserve starts to slow down in raising interest rates. And he expected that the S-REIT is likely to bottom out in the next three to six months...

Following $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Elon Musk’s acquisition, $Twitter (Delisted) (TWTR.US)$ fired nearly half of its workforce as part of cost-cutting measures. Interestingly, the company later had to ask some of the fired employees to return after it realised that they were either fired in error or were too essential to certain operations.

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ and Intel $Intel (INTC.US)$ have been sold off brutally on the market this year as the slump in the personal computer (PC) market has caught up with the chipmakers, both of which reported disappointing third-quarter results recently that didn't live up to the market's expectations.

Facial expressions are a form of nonverbal communication used by humans to convey various types of meaning in different contexts.
It is commonly believed that it mirrors people's innermost emotions. But recent research has found that the same facial expression could have various meaning in different scenarios.
Although decoding messages hidden behind people's faces is highly challenging, it's also fun to look at them, right?

A good example showing the global economy is booming is $Grab Holdings (GRAB.US)$ , as it launched its first digital bank with $Singtel (Z74.SG)$ in 2022.
Not only it launched its first digital bank, it is also not desperate to do mass layoffs or hiring freezes, unlike one of its rivials, $Sea (SE.US)$ .
Extracted from:
Besides the two good news above, Grab stock price rises with positive capital inflows on 30 Sep 2022, which generally mean a bullish signal.

sachinvest : I started my investment in Singapore from moomoo. this year is more or less netrual.
I will invest in $Mapletree Ind Tr (ME8U.SG)$ as it's in best price to take for 5 years down the line.
The next investment will be $SBS Transit (S61.SG)$ as an increased price means more profitable and better dividends
I am a fan of the cash plus plan as it gives a better return than a bank account
