104079172 Navkgp OP : Yes, we have to see at the end of session today. The PM session might be completely different from the AM. Probably will be bullish and then bearish nearer the expiry time. What  I don't see is a big plunge to under 8, at least I don't think so in the intraday. Fair bit of support at 8.5 at the moment. Algos seem to want to stop there at this time. This could change of course. For a triple witching day,the entire market has been surprisingly calmish. Once again the PM could be completely different!

104079172 104982343 : It will depend on the SPY. It currently has a huge problem breaking 560. When it went to near 562 we saw 8.9 just now. There could be another upwards move in the PM but get out quick if it happens as it will likely not last. BTW, post triple witching is usually positive.

104079172 : Er, not weird at all. It's cunning arrogance. Distasteful but the guy is a shark. He wants the quantum industry to make use of Nvidia GPUs, and he wants to dominate that industry as well. Won't be surprised if he actually tries to buy at least one of the key quantum players at some point in time to kickstart his own quantum enterprise. RGTI is a good candidate.

Great what he says at the end. The quantum CEOs should stop kowtowing to JH. All these small guys should band together.

104079172 Navkgp OP : With the simultaneous expiration of USD 4.5 trillion dollars worth of stock options, stock index futures, and stock index options contracts all on the same day, you bet it's going to be a massively volatile day!
I am with you Navkgp, I think the direction will be up in today's session, to possibly around 10 dollars, plus minus. I'd be thrilled if it goes much further but I'd caution against hanging around for too long as it's likely going to reverse in a fairly spectacular way. How far down when it comes down is really hard to say but I'd say that yesterday's low of 8.27 was tested twice in the session and it bounced back quite hard. (post-market lowest was 8.1) Not to say that it won't pass 8 on the way down.
Going forwards, there's probably more upside opportunities to come but it's not going to be in a straight line. Jensen Huang, that arrogant c-word might have done everyone a favour (again) by creating another dip opportunity yesterday with his backhanded "so sorry" panel discussion that largely caused the very big dip down. But more lowside = more upside potential.
BTW, the week following a massive triple witching is usually positive. And Apr 2 may or may not be relevant for speculative stocks in this nascent industry. We've seen quantum stocks breaking from the SPY track recently when it suits the algos - i.e., when big money needs somewhere in the US to make money when everything else turns red.
Also, if you're stuck at high 10s or 11s, take heart that from late March onwards for a few months is when the US market typically climbs up. If you can't wait, cut losses as best you can and re-enter when the time suits. Quantum stocks will always have good volatility to make money.
