104395530 : I dont know much about the technical reasons, but the main reason I believe why AMD is so much more popular is because of its branding. AMD is far more commonly associated with Nvdia compared to qualcomm, and their snapdragon chips arent that well known to people unfamiliar with tech, even though they are really good.
Its also why Apple stocks are good, even though their products have been terrible for the past few years, and they have a long history of anti-repair practices and generally being terrible for the consumer.

104395530 : Why do you want to short such a good stock? Gamble for what? The future of AMD is every bit positive. You might as well invest in AMD like a normal person and I bet you would probably have roughly the same gross profit with far less effort.
Here's my question. What is your end goal to being a serial shorter? Is it for short term profits, or the thrill of gambling, or something else?
Are you just going to continue shorting for the next 20 or so years? Is there any game plan whatsoever?
I'm sorry for being rude, but I just see no reason as to spend all day every day shorting. It just seems so mentally draining.

104395530 : Your views are very reasonable, unbiased, and smart. I absolutely agree that AI isnt a bubble, and that it is also very overhyped. The market will continue to grow, but I believe that the biggest limiting factor of AI is the speed of its progress. Even as billions of dollars are poured into r&d, we are still only at the very beginning stages of the development of AI. While it can currently do a lot of incredible things, and the biggest improvements compared to before the AI hype is the speed and accuracy of the outputs, it lacks in generalised tasks due to the nature of AI. This is my subjective opinion, but I hope that the industry would push more to the direction of AGI, which is somewhat underlooked compared to the generation tools the market is currently overhyped about.
I dont have a good grasp on what the future holds, and how the market will pan out, but I believe that AI is neither the bubble gamblers love, nor the rocket to mars that people want.
