$ComfortDelGro (C52.SG)$ This stock moves like a tortoise when going up and like a hare when going down. Analysts give a thumb up to this stock but it keeps moving down. Wonder whether the QR will be positive?

Take note that company buy back shares from existing shareholders at 0.355 last year which makes up around 6.8% of the total outstanding shares. If we include the controlling shareholders stake 79%, the public shareholdings is only left 14.2%. So, I think the company is likely to delist at higher price of between 0.70 and 0.80 range which costs them less than $300 million SGD. Payback period is 2 years. 3rd year onwards, they actually make money for themselves since it becomes pr...

I'm hoping for delisting price of at least 67 cents since the company is making so much profit for FY2024.

Looks like it has stopped moving up. Sold off at 0.46 to recycle my capital to trade other stocks.

If the full year earnings for FY2024 is around $100 million USD, the estimated EPS should be around 6.7 SG cents. Applying conservative P/E 10, the stock should be worth at least $0.67. If the controlling shareholders want to privatise Japfa, they will need to buy at this price.

Japfa's controlling Santosa family makes 62 cents per share privatisation offer.
Can wait for final offer...65? 68 or maybe 70
