Can someone tell me why the leak will drag the stock prices down?????

i only started in july so really srill a newbie at trading: nvidia was my only holdings last night but i didnt want to sell.
so i bought some puts and did enough to cover my nvidia losses.

All technology stocks will experience a major drop after this financial report, because July to September is a month of adjustment for technology stocks, only experiencing a significant drop. A new round of rise will only come after the year-end financial report. It is absolutely not advisable to trade today. Wait for the financial report and go all in with your money.
