The main reason for this statement is that price trends appear more stable and less volatile on long-term charts than on short-term charts, making short-term investments seem more prone to losses.
Actually, when we view short-cycle charts as long-cycle charts after time acceleration, we will find that the success rate of all trading strategies is similar in both short and long-cycle charts, except for the leverage ratio. Using the same trading strategy, short-cycle charts offer more trading opportunities, while long-cycle charts have higher leverage ratios, but the final return rate is similar.
