$United Money Market Fund-Class R (MYU9100AN000.MF)$ Doesn't everyone think that the dividends from this Fund seem like they don't really want to pay? Every Saturday and Sunday, there is definitely no interest earned, meaning that out of the week, dividends are only paid for 5 days, but every Thursday there is definitely a "zero interest". Interest is calculated using an "annual interest rate", but with dividends being paid for only 4 days a week, I'm wondering if it would be better to put the money in a bank for a fixed deposit instead. At least when the bank says a 3.5% annual interest rate, it actually means putting 0.01 million for a year will get you 350 bucks. This Moo Moo Fund seems to be fooling around, claiming to have more than 3% annual interest, but since it only pays interest for four days a week, there’s no way to earn like in the bank. Every minute, these funds might even face a risk of losing money. I think everyone should avoid participating in such a boring Fund, and it’s better to take the money back to the bank for a fixed deposit rather than giving it to these so-called Fund companies to fool you. Putting in 100 thousand is useless, not a single cent can be seen earned, it’s really disgusting! Pff!
