NationGate Holdings responded this morning to Bursa Malaysia regarding unusual market activities (UMA) stating that the company and its subsidiaries have no connection to the case.
In line with the latest announcement, NationGate Holdings announced this morning to suspend Trade for one hour, resuming at 10 AM.
After resuming Trade, NationGate Holdings rebounded sharply, with the stock price rising by 27% to 1.66 Ringgit.
According to the company's statement: "We understand that this case involves an NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP), but the company has no relation to our company."
Yesterday, Singapore authorities pointed out that an ongoing investigation shows that NVIDIA's high-end chips may be illegally flowing to the Chinese market through Malaysia.
According to Bloomberg, Singapore is investigating whether server equipment from Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer shipped to Malaysia contains components that are prohibited from entering China.
