Today, the large cap rose to a key resistance level. Near the lower edge of the gap around 4400 points.
Many of the stocks I hold have also risen to key resistance levels, including:
$Meta Platforms (META.US)$
$Microsoft (MSFT.US)$
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$
$Novo-Nordisk A/S (NVO.US)$
I choose to reduce positions. Following the hedge both ways strategy, I start to short on the right-hand position.
Currently facing two possible outcomes:
1. If CPI is bullish and breaks through resistance, then reduce the right-hand positions with timely stop-loss, and buy stocks.
2. If CPI is bearish, hold the right-hand positions until it falls to the support level, then replenish and buy stocks.
Today I increased positions, or in other words, replenished two stocks on the right-hand side:
$ASML Holding (ASML.US)$If the price breaks above the key level of 600, if I were to short, I need to understand the profit potential. Therefore, I choose to buy. Current position is at 7%.
$Occidental Petroleum (OXY.US)$ , Current position is at 8%.
Lastly, about TLT
A friend asked me when to enter the market. This question varies from person to person. Everyone's trading style, investment goals, position planning are different. Every investor needs to develop their own trading strategy, like my current approach of hedging both sides. Others' strategies can only be used as a reference, blindly following the trend may make money, but this is not investing.
TLT had good volume yesterday, gapped up on open today, standing...

The Federal Reserve did nothing, just moving their mouths, and everyone fell apart one by one. Lao Bao's mouth is really shining.
However, I think Lao Bao is definitely just talking. High interest rates cannot be maintained for a whole year. If this causes a panic drop this time, it will be a buying opportunity afterwards. Currently, $The Health Care Select Sector SPDR® Fund (XLV.US)$ and $Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLU.US)$ , Currently, it is probably a buying opportunity already.
Unexpectedly, the gap in Tesla is gone, leaving behind a breakaway gap instead. This is quite awkward. According to the plan, I will seize the opportunity to cut my position in half today.
Google is a bit deceptive on this side, most of the profits have been given out.My position is a bit heavy, so I also need to reduce some positions at the right time.
$UnitedHealth (UNH.US)$ Yesterday, my position was entirely protected by you. In the insurance industry, they really like high interest rates. They don't do anything else, just collect your money first, then earn interest, so enjoyable.
$Occidental Petroleum (OXY.US)$ In the hot economic data, however...

First, let me state that what I'm going to write in this article is not an investment strategy; it doesn't help anyone make money. However, after some research and practice, I believe that for retail investors, if applied properly, this strategy can greatly ease their fears and greed, and view the stock market from a new perspective, thereby increasing the success rate of their own investments.
Using this strategy requires the following steps:
1. The left-right strategy is only suitable for long-term, unleveraged investors who invest in high-quality stocks. The methods of speculating on demon stocks, speculating on options, and operating with high leverage have nothing to do with this article.
2. Plan your own investment capital and method. With a fixed initial capital? Or is it a regular investment? Or a combination of the two? However, regardless of the method, left and right fighting strategies can be used.
3. To choose high-quality stocks, you must be able to see companies with a bright future in the next 5-10 years or more. Companies with no clear profit prospects should be excluded, companies that are likely to go bankrupt should be excluded, and the sunset industry, which has no growth potential or is even in jeopardy, should be excluded.
There is one very suitable stock, which is $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ . More on that below. If you don't like Tesla, of course, $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ It's also OK, $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ , $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$, $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ That's fine too....
