152257758 OP 10baggerbamm : Thank you. I read it a few times. I guess that's taking Trump's tariff talk at face value though. He was quick to suspend earlier in the month, and just as quickly as tariffs are imposed they can be rescinded. There's the uncertainty causing drops currently. I'd say not to underestimate Trump, the left did that to their peril twice, but I also don't think taking his word as gospel is historically accurate either. Walking back a tough position can seem like concessions in negotiating unless the conceded stance was in fact the goal from the outset.

152257758 OP 10baggerbamm : But the market falls on the uncertainty far more than the tariff, especially if/when the tariff eventually settles somewhere lower than initially stated. Also worth noting that AMD has already fallen a long way from its highs, so it isn't coming down from recent highs. Arguably it's pushed lower based on macro rather than the business itself - like 2022. It's grown a lot more in that time though, and trades low already.

152257758 : Me. I keep buying in tranches at incremental dips since selling at over $200. Once it had dipped $50 share and then every $30 from there. The first purchase was a mistake. I don't regret the others, despite them being down.
