$Intel (INTC.US)$ $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$
Why does Intel still exist, if it is more expensive and has poorer performance compared to AMD? Since Intel still gets sales every year, why won't business owners move to AMD, since they are spending money on infrastructure upgrade anyway?? Are they stupid, because they want to spend more money and get less work done?
The reality is Intel comes with its proprietary software such as compilers and mpi etc. When a code is implemented, it is also optimised against t...

$Intel (INTC.US)$ can the USA afford to let intel fail? I mean tsmc in Taiwan, and we know that situation. I have a gut feeling that intel have a trick up it sleeves maybe with some help from DARPA, and the new foundry on US soil, would make sense. maybe why they culled 14000 staff. cleaning out any possible unvetted workers who may compromise to CN. maybe someone can check if any politicians have purchased intc recently? we may get our answers. I'm holding for 10yrs.

152305851 : agreed with all this except for the R&D part. I strongly believe that intel will be assisted by DARPA for next gen tech. the reasons we don't know about it is .gov want china in the dark for obvious reasons. I also believe that intel culled all potential leakers in the 14k layoffs. the CEO purchased 250k shares recently so maybe that is good indication for trick up Intel's sleeve. the US will not let Intel fail.
