Since the beginning of the year, Australian stocks have posted solid returns. In the first four months, the $S&P/ASX 200 (.XJO.AU)$ index ascended by 4%, frequently reaching new all-time highs, as investors cheered better-than-expected half-year corporate results and held high hopes for interest rate cuts later this year. Influenced by the volatility surrounding interest rate cut expectations and a weak sho...

$Lumen Technologies (LUMN.US)$
This is a longterm play. The CEO is amazing. I haven't seen many CEO as intelligent as her. In the questioning session, there was one ahole (pretending to be multiple people) trying to take down LUMN for the shorts. Did you notice all the weird questions that were coming from this guy with the same voice but from different companies. Feel sorry for his shorts, he must be in alot of pain.

In July, the focus was mainly on macroeconomics. In the middle of July, I cleared out my positions and successfully sold off large-cap technology stocks at the peak. $Apple (AAPL.US)$ $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$In addition to, $Palantir (PLTR.US)$PLTR has always been a technology stock that I like, but the macro data in July and the expected interest rate cut in September both indicate that the market (S&P 500 and Nasdaq) will experience a large-scale correction. Therefore, I carefully chose to sell all my positions and be more proactive in buying small cap stocks and cryptocurrency based on the expectation of an 'interest rate recession'.
The market is correct. Obviously, selling off PLTR was a wrong decision because it actually falls into the category of small cap technology stocks. I will buy back other large technology stocks in the future.
In the latter part of July, I bought into $ASML Holding (ASML.US)$ because its financial report fell below the MA120. I considered this to be a very good buying opportunity. However, the subsequent TSM financial report pulled ASML close to the MA200. Based on my 'recession' trading plan, I should not have bought large technology stocks, and also the losses in the account (hold positions).
Finally, I want to mention $MARA Holdings (MARA.US)$ and $iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT.US)$ These two are both in the cryptocurrency sector and small cap stocks. I expect to gain from "rate cut trading and Trump trading".
