Sales exceeded market expectations in the financial results for the fiscal year ending February 4 (4th quarter) announced by the artificial intelligence (AI) software company US C-3AI (C3.ai). The idea that further growth is expected was shown, and demand for AI products and services remained strong.
Losses expanded to 72.9 million dollars (65 million dollars in the same period last year), and loss per share increased to 0.59 dollars (0.58 dollars), respectively. The adjusted loss per share was $0.11. According to analyst forecasts compiled by the research company FactSet, the adjusted loss per share was expected to be 0.30 dollars.
Sales increased 20% to 86.6 million dollars (7240 dollars in the same period last year), which exceeded the analyst forecast compiled by FactSet of 84.4 million dollars.
The number of contracts concluded in the 2024/4 fiscal year was 191, a 52% increase from the previous year. Of these, there were 123 pilot contracts, an increase of 151% from the previous year.
