Synopsis
Miso (Han Ji-won), a salesperson at a high-end brand shop, has a boyfriend whom she promised to marry. However, lacking the deposit for a new home, she starts stock investing on the recommendation of a friend. As stock prices rapidly rise, the ambitious Miso invests her marriage funds and ends up in a huge failure. Her investment failure is discovered by her boyfriend, leading to a loss of trust, cancellation of the engagement, and accumulating debts. Meanwhile, Sonu (Hong Jong-hyun), who has been a NEET for a long time due to a certain incident, starts working part-time at a convenience store to reintegrate into society. One day, Miso, who visits the convenience store where Sonu works, buys a lottery ticket but all turn out to be blanks, leading her to drown her sorrows in alcohol. Sonu tells her that "stocks are more profitable than the lottery," which angers Miso due to her bad experiences with stocks, and she snaps at Sonu.
