The morning session was weak, but it recovered significantly in the afternoon! Temporarily exceeded +1000, and ended up at +939 yen! Considering it from the Nikkei Average, I think it's a pretty good result!
The major gainers were F&L, SUBARU CORP Unsponsored ADR, Kobe Steel, Cosmo Energy, Nichirei, Nippon Steel, and NGK Insulators! Suruga Bank also performed well today.
It would be great if Nippon Steel could make a strong appeal to President Trump, as I feel the stock price might move again depending on that outcome...
The performance of F&L is very good, so I'd like to continue holding a little longer and hopefully achieve a new record high. (Since this is purely a personal feeling, if you have doubts, it's better to cut your losses and be done with it.)
I'm looking forward to see what will happen on Monday with the energy-related and beer-related stocks that were bought in anticipation of a stronger yen.
Among the declining stocks were Itochu Corporation, Sumitomo Corporation, NTT, Toyota Motor, Marubeni, particularly noticeable was the drop in trading company stocks. Since they are sensitive to the economy, hopefully this is not a sign of a sharp decline... Well, it's not a significant drop to be concerned about, so I'll continue to hold onto them.
NTT's performance has not been as strong as expected... Well, it's still too early to say what lies ahead...
