In the past, there have been other companies that caused food poisoning issues. However, I have never heard of a company on the level of mcdonald's collapsing for that reason. Even if a company's profits temporarily decrease due to consumer aversion or payment of compensation, mcdonald's can continue to offer good products and assume that consumers will keep demanding them, they should prepare while discount stickers are still attached.
