① Introduction of the Bill
Members of Congress introduce the bill, and it is assigned to the Senate or the House of Representatives.
② Committee Review
It is sent to the relevant committee (e.g., the Senate Banking Committee) to be reviewed after public hearings and any amendments.
※Committee Approval: If the bill is approved by a majority in the committee, it moves on to the next step.
③Floor Consideration
After passing the committee, the bill is sent to the Full Chamber of the Senate or House of Representatives. All members debate and may propose amendments or vote.
※Passage in the Senate or House: If it is approved by a simple majority (51 votes in the Senate, 218 votes in the House), it moves on to the next step.
④ Conference Committee
The Upper House and Lower House have different versions...

The recent decline in Bitcoin over the past few days is believed to be the result of a combination of macroeconomic uncertainties due to tariff policies, Security concerns from the Bybit hacking, Outflows from ETFs, and disappointment over regulatory progress at the state level.
Tariff Policy: A policy was announced to impose tariffs of 25% on imports from Mexico and Canada, and 10% on imports from China, which raised concerns about a rekindling of inflation. The risk-off mood spread, and Bitcoin, as a risk asset, was reportedly sold off.
Hacking: The large-scale hacking incident at Bybit that occurred on February 21, 2025, dealt a significant blow to the market. Approximately 401,000 ETH (equivalent to about 210 billion yen) was lost, marking it as the largest single hacking incident in history. This event is believed to have shaken confidence and triggered a decline across all cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin.
Outflow from ETF: A large amount of funds has been flowing out of the USA spot Bitcoin ETF, contributing to the price decline. As of February 25, an outflow of 0.5 billion 16 million dollars was recorded, making it the second largest scale annually.

African Amazon, known as Jumia Technologies, has finally hit bottom.
They were wandering around the $3 range, but awakened yesterday due to the Black Friday performance report.
Notable data,
Number of orders increased by 18% in Q4 over the same period last year, reaching 4.3 million, with a 9% growth in the number of customers.
Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) on a fixed currency basis increased by 33% compared to the same period last year.
In other words, it is almost certain that the Q4 financial results announced in February 2025 will show incredible figures.
And why investors are so excited is because
In previous financial results, revenue/GMV calculation based on fixed currency may have sounded like an excuse for exchange rate losses.

In other words, it remains stable throughout the year.
With the results of Q4, the calculation based on fixed currency is the performance and growth rate of Jumia Technologies.
