Chipmaker stocks have soared this year, but some more than others. Unfortunately, one of these stocks may be in a bubble, while the other faces geopolitical tensions, making both look like risky plays despite their exposure to artificial intelligence. $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ $Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$
At a P/E of 208.5 and a P/S of 38.3, NVIDIA initially looks massively overvalued versus its industry. However, the chipmaker’s five-year mean P/E is about...

Good Ridens to 2023
Goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023. It was a rough year and everybody is happy to see it go. $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ We've already heard that the RX 7000 graphics card "will destroy Nvidia's efficiency across the entire lineup" and the possibility that the RDNA 3 could have a higher performance upgrade than Nvidia's Ada GPU.
In any case, the battle for the next-generation GPU market is sure to be an interesting one between the two tech giants. For AMD, it's a golden opportunity to overtake Nvidia as the leading GPU maker, but only time will tell w...

Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President James Bullard said the central bank needs to move quickly to raise interest rates to around 3.5% this year with multiple half-point hikes and that it shouldn’t rule out rate increases of 75 basis points.
“More than 50 basis points is not my base case at this point,” Bullard said. A known hawk, Bullard has been favoring faster and more aggressive rate hikes by the Fed.
