Yo fam, did y'all catch that insane action with AMC 🍿 and GME 🎮 yesterday? That stuff was straight-up bonkers, the market itself hit the brakes with trading halts 'cause things were heating up too much 🔥! I mean, I was eyeing another spike, but now it's lookin' more like a little stumble, you feel me?
I took a peek at the pre-market prices for today, and it looks like we're seeing some volatility with a hint of a downturn.

There are times when I read about GPU makers here and I'm wondering if any of you have ever tried renting GPU by the hour or week or month for AI purposes in the past 2 years? If so have you ever calculated how much you're being charged per FLOP or in general the direction of the price of raw compute? As AI becomes mainstream and inference demand grows, what do you think happens to the basic laws of supply and demand?

I understand the average investor moves the market so little and it’s probably massive orders coming in but isn’t there psychological appeal to having a stock price not at almost $1,000 a share?
