Constant fluctuations are the sign of the beginning of a reverse trend. The downward fluctuations on the uptrend index always shows the change in the sentiments of the traders. These changes might be caused by many reasons. Moat important can be the correction(or sell-off) caused by the long position holders(organizations or firms). These are the holders which can own around 50% of company's stock. For example currently, the institutional holding of tesla stock is around 43.22%(might have changed in this quarter).

Instead of fear during the turmoil that is likely to continue for a while in the markets - one should be researching companies that they would like to "get in" on. These lows are historic for some big companies such as cruise/airline companies. View it as a sale if you will. You should be buying at the lowest possible price - if price shoots up then wait a day or so and make sure the price isn't being manipulated upwards. If its not then go ahead and buy, odds are you are still getting one helluva discount. Do your best to monitor the markets and changes. Like the saying goes "Buy the fear - sell the news".

$Novan (NOVN.US)$ I might have to make a premarket purchase on this one, I just stumbled upon it🤷 It's at its 52-week low, so it could be a profitable swing trade.
