#Investing in US stocks
When I started looking for companies related to SpaceX to invest in, #DXYZ came into my view. After researching, I found that it has invested in many startups in the form of VC, including famous ones like OpenAI and Stripe, in addition to SX. Its stock price went from a high of 100 after going public at 9, but then dropped to a low of 11. I started buying at 15 and bought more at 11, with its price-to-book ratio around 5. Even at 11-15, the P/E ratio is only 2-3 times. I understand that it belongs to a closed-end fund, with relatively low liquidity. The normal daily trading volume is only in the hundreds of thousands. I was prepared to hold it for a long time when buying; the sudden surge to 20-30-40, even as high as 50, made me excited but I quickly calmed down and readjusted my pace. Investing in US stocks requires training your mindset, controlling your emotions and pace. With persistence, you can handle it like Tai Chi, with measured movements. I know the process is challenging, but as long as you make a small step of progress every day, you will eventually succeed. Best wishes to all investors.
