This get their movies in AMC exclusively and saves them 13-15 billion and the problems that would/could come along with the purchase.

AMC saw it’s price rocket to 70$ when this occurred with their stock last year and it could account for the fact there’s 50000 call options with a 2.50$ price expiring next Friday.
