U.S. major indexes gave back some of their gains on Thursday after a strong run up in the previous Wednesday session. S&P 500, NASDAQ and DJIA all tried to stay in the green but succumbed by the end of the trading session.

We saw the market trading in a mixed mode after the latest Producer Price Index (PPI) data showed a lighter-than-expected uptick in wholesale prices for December. The soft PPI report helped alleviate some concerns about the stickiness of inflation heading into Wednesday morning's Consumer Price Index (CPI) report.

My trading strategy includes holding long-term call options on certain popular stocks, as well as using short-term strategies to manage market volatility. At the beginning of January, the market was still cautious due to uncertainties surrounding economic slowdown, inflation data, and Federal Reserve policies. Based on these factors, I expected some short-term volatility.

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ Today's review focuses mainly on TSLA and NVDA. First of all, today's trading logic is based on the fact that TSLA and NVDA had already opened lower in the night session and early session, which we can understand as a follow-up decline due to poor data on Friday. However, as long as everyone pays attention, they will notice that the trading volume in these night and early sessions is actually not high, so I assume it's a trick by market makers to deceive.
However, I'm not sure if it's really just a trick by the institutions. Those moo friends who follow my posts should know from the replies that I've mentioned needing the market to open before determining the direction. Therefore, I've been holding back from trading before the market opens, and indeed in the last 15 minutes, the institutions managed to make some people relinquish their chips through price suppression tactics.
Following the concept of 'what goes up must come down,' there will be an opportunity for a rebound after a sharp drop at the opening. So, in the last minute before the market opens, I decided to immediately place call options on tsla and nvda.
Then there is the Trade that everyone saw, so summarizing today's trade is as expected, not particularly difficult, the difficulty lies in execution, whether you believe in your own judgment.
Continuously reviewing will make me more powerful~ I also hope everyone will review more on their own. $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$

$Top Glove (BVA.SG)$
Shares of Top Glove Corporation Bhd may have little upside as valuations stretched with the recent rally in share prices while earnings outlook remained clouded by both costs and sales concerns.
Top Glove was little changed at RM1.33 on Mon after the glove manufacturer reported its first profitable quarter in two years. The results, however, were below consensus estimates after excluding extraordinary gains.
