I think the media is partly to blame for this. Maybe in 2014 they weren't talking about Russian invasion every 5 seconds. But why would now be any different? There shouldn't be any crash at all.

omg I’m so scared by what is happening around the world and I'm worried about the value of my portfolio. I don’t really know what to do at this juncture and I just hope that the stocks will go up. Hopefully the upcoming week will be much better for the stock market as opposed to the last week or in fact the last month

Farosstar : Of course with any concerning global event people are scared of stock security and trading. When this happens some stocks may decline wish causes good trading and buying options at lower prices. Just buy low and hold till the global issues settle down and stocks will eventually rise causeing gains and more money in our pockets.
