Danodanc TheOracleOfBroMaha : No you are not going to have to buy them.  Options give you the right to buy the underlying stock for a set price if the strike.price requirements are met. The right to but not the obligation..  I believe that covered options are different But I have never had the interest in that much exposure to lose. So I don't trade covered positions unless I can keep my exposure to loss at 5% of my total account balance.

Danodanc : $Palantir (PLTR.US)$  Is certainly looking to have a very impressive 2025 isn't it.  It has a fairly decent foundation in regards to government contracts. It has also recently moved to the $NASDAQ (NASDAQ.US)$  exchange which will increase its exposure to a more tech minded  investor as well as the added interest from  Echange Traded Funds that take massive positions.  Additionally they have increased  focus on modular sales to bring the operating system that operates systems accrossed all industries.  The increased commercial sales usually means a huge upscale potential. But even with all of the positive data $Palantir (PLTR.US)$ is no where near the upside potential as $SoundHound AI (SOUN.US)$  who has doubled its earnings on a consistent basis since going public. So both have the potential for massive returns. But $SoundHound AI (SOUN.US)$ is going to surpass $Palantir (PLTR.US)$  by far.  And it would only take a bit more strategic posturing  to put them in the same conversation as companies like $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$  and $Oracle (ORCL.US)$.
Palantir is selling Operating systems that operate system and SoundHound AI is selling the technology that allows  humans to  verbally tell those systems what to do...

I spend the better part of  14 hours a day doing research and studying charts. I do this mainly because I can't afford to lose.  Back in February I had a couple heart attacks But had been ill since August of 2023.  I drove semi for a living and can't pass the medical. Back in Dec. of 2023  i bought 3 long call options in $Microvast (MVST.US)$ for 5 dollars a contract and they remained dormant til 2 weeks ago  Friday when they jumped to a total of $83.00 I took a long call postion in tsll that grew to $240.0 in a couple days and I have just been rolling my 2 long call options in $Palantir (PLTR.US)$  and hoping to take a long position with an expiration at least 6 Mos. from. now with a very comfortable  strike price.
