5,000 workers will walk out. This plant makes the very profitable Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. GM was already losing $29M per day due to the UAW strike, now this new strike expansion will result in that number rising by a lot.
The UAW is hitting GM where it hurts the most, Arlington assembly plant.
