As of Friday’s close, Carnival Cruise Line (NYSE:CCL) closed down 11%, Royal Caribbean Cruises (NYSE:RCL) closed down 13%, and Norwegian Cruise Line (NYSE:NCLH) closed down 11%

$Vanguard Materials ETF (VAW.US)$/ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ pair has seen vaw underperform with periods of outperformance ... two of the more signficant periods were may 2004 to june 2008 and march 2020 april 2021 of which its have given most of it back currently trading near 2 sigma cheap on a 17 year horizon which is odd given the fact that inflation has been a front page problem for a few months... I personally am always suspect of "thematic" investing
