Spinosaurus : The better investment depends on more than just line graphs. Group A looks like a better investment but only because we know the history of both group A and B and we can see how society has adopted one company over the other.
The better question to ask is when is the best time to invest in a company or when is the best time to exit an investment?
We want to buy low and sell high but how do we gauge a low vs high? what if we buy at low and the stock drops more? How do we recover? Do we buy the dip or cut our losses? Same with selling. what do we do when we sell at a high only to see it skyrocket the next day?
most of these questions will boil down to an investors level of risk tolerance, but what are some good strategies for dealing with losses and potential losses (selling to early)?
