I would like to play some at-the-money calls, and some out of the money and a few deep out of the money calls. And do this for multiple expirations and I assure you that you will see some 100% gains

TravisHoward5 Fundamentalist : Love $Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$ and this run with $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ has been wild. On Tuesday I grabed some yolos in $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ weekly OTM $105 calls bought 25 at $.17 and exited them at $.55 yesterday. And yesterday I bought 65 of the $107 calls at $.13 and exited 49 of them at $.49 each, to receive $2,401 when my cost for the 65 contracts was only $845 so I made a gain of $1556 and still have 16 contracts for freethen when they collapsed I grabbed 13 more at $.09 avg, so after that big gain and with the extra cost of $117 on the last 13 contracts I bought I’m at a worst case scenario going to profit $1439 if the contracts go to zero. There’s nothing better than a massive gain on a yolo where it’s a straight up all or nothing

TravisHoward5 : Here’s how I avoid panic selling and it always works for me. Rule #1 is you want to be a buyer when everyone is selling. But also, find ways to profit off the selling such as if the chart shows that there is continued momentum to the downside you should buy some puts to scalp the stock on the way down while you are also establishing a long position through either purchasing further out of expiration calls that are at the money. The further out the expiration is for the calls, the less the value of the call option will be affected by downward stock price. Or if you own shares of a company, when the price starts to drop go ahead and sell covered calls and collect premium. I tend to do this with weekly expirations so the calls will quickly lose value thus giving me more premium as profit. And worst case of you sell covered calls you may be forced to sell your shares, but that is OK as you already collected a premium on the selling of the calls and now you sell the shares. RULE #2, if the company is one you believe in, and you are in for the long term then look at every time there is panic selling as a buying opportunity. You don’t exit the position you add to the position, thus the panic selling that occurred allowed you to get more shares or calls at a sale price. But ultimately every trader has a different style. And I believe it is best to trade with a mixture of a long term and a short term strategy. The long term strategy is the slow and steady, and the short term is the aggressive style of trading where you can use calls and puts to scalp the market and your position
