A recent $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ test of a $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ electric van showed that the battery's performance is below the EV startup's claims.
According to the report, the battery drained 40% faster than usual if the van's heating or cooling was on. Rivian said in its prospectus that the all-electric delivery vans would have a range between 120 miles and 150 miles, depending on size.
Rivian shares fell 8.2% to 118.11 on Monday. RIVN stock rose 67% in the first few days after its IPO, to 129.95. But shares closed down 1% last week after a wild ride.
Among other EV stocks, China-based $XPeng (XPEV.US)$ edged up 1.1% after briefing reclaiming a buy range intraday. $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$surged 7.3%, while $Li Auto (LI.US)$ advanced 1.9%.
Among U.S. automakers, $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ reversed opening gains and dropped 8.2%, $General Motors (GM.US)$ rose 3.7% and Ford (F) was up 5.4%. U.S.-traded shares of Germany's $VOLKSWAGEN A G (VWAGY.US)$ dipped 0.4%.

I put $600 in my account that was marketed as fee free and now my $34 net worth account it has been charged over $500 in fees? confusing to me. new to moomoo. I’m in the U.S. so it still charges fees? where can I see what I have purchased?

I didn't see Any of the free stocks I was supposed to get and can't see how to claim them. I also can't clearly see the quantity of the stock I own unless I pretend I'm going to sell a and then it says how many available to sell.

$Meta Platforms (FB.US)$ I think it is about time that FB change it ways and be a more open company allowing both liberal and conservative views to air on its site. It is killing the name and reputation of the company. One does not need an MBA to realize how negative the name Facebook carries with the general public. It has long been my contention that FB would have been a mid 400 stock if its reputation was less toxic.

$Meta Platforms (FB.US)$ No one really knows what will be the metaverse..#facts. Ive tried to research (articles, podcasts, etc) and there isn’t a consistent view on metaverse. This “metaverse” thing will take time to take shape as an investment thesis. See 3D printing, Cannabis, EV, internet 1.0, 5G, etc. In each case it took time to take shape. And there were some winners that weren’t even on anyone’s radar.
Some of these companies are good investments regardless of metaverse.
