Thankfully, it’s only paper trading!

Lost some money in paper trading, as I lack the time to do necessary research on stocks and the market. This is what I truly dislike about investing- the amount of time required to become good at it! Life is short, and there are more important things to spend time on!
Happy investing to all my fellow Mooers!
All this analysis can be overwhelming at times, especially for those of us who don't have a lot of free time to spare!
I'm not really sure who will reach that milestone first, but it seems like most people think Nvidia will pull it off!

New US government spending = higher inflation and economic downturn!
In my humble opinion, the chance for a recession is good. The current administration wants fuel prices to go up (so that we'll all be forced to get electric cars), which makes the price of everything shipped by truck/plane cost more. Add to that excessive government spending, labor shortages, war in Ukraine, and shipping/delivery issues- and the chance of recession increases greatly.
Sometimes I wonder just how high our national debt has to go before it starts to have serious, long-term effects on the stock market. Might there eventually come a time when the market no longer "bounces back"- where the bear market becomes permanent? Just thinking out loud...
