This year's fourth quarter was truly a thrilling journey. At the end of October, I tried Options Trading for the first time and suffered a loss of 0.025 million dollars on the first day. The heartache from that feeling still remains vivid in my memory. Therefore, I made a firm decision to enhance my learning and training. Through continuous adjustments, I gradually found the rhythm of trading. However, due to buying into Dazi's long term call with my entire investment, I almost lost half of my capital. After reluctantly cutting my losses, I decisively shifted to Zaza's call and finally managed to break even within a week.
Subsequently, I continued to be bullish on Zaza, and within two weeks, my net income reached 0.14 million dollars. However, a speech by Powell caused Zaza to plummet by 8% in one day, directly leading to over an 80% drop in my full-position call. At that moment, I was both flustered and at a loss. Within just three days, my net income shrunk from 0.14 million to only 2,000 dollars.
It all feels like a dream, too unreal, yet it also makes me deeply realize the risks of speculation. Looking back at the market sentiment at that time, who wasn't gambling? At one point, I even thought the pullback would reach nearly 500, haha.
Last Friday, I re-entered the market. This time, it was a calm and cautious operation after reflection and precipitation. In the past three days, a total profit of 0.02 million dollars, today's performance is particularly satisfactory. After all, the dream of getting rich overnight is no longer the goal, the same mistakes cannot be repeated.
The goal for 2025 is still to double, but this time I will not be greedy, and will take it step by step. There are opportunities every day, as long as we go with the trend, everyone can make money!
